Cal Roy Interpreter Training services to the WRPS service: A quality service for those in need

Interpreter Training services to the WRPS

In collaboration with the YMCA, Cal Roy devised a two-day interpreter training course while working with Waterloo Regional Police. He educated about 80 interpreters and created a certification program for them that became widely recognized. He also delivered a 15-week in-service training program on the correct use of interpreters to all WRPS members. Cal also oversaw the Language Line Service, a new forum that provided interpretation services to the WRPS Service. He investigated this service, polled other participants such as Peel and Toronto Police Services, and this resulted in the program’s establishment. This software allowed North American police organizations to call 1400 interpreters in less than 10 seconds.

Cal Roy is a community leader and educator who has worked with the Waterloo Regional Police and the YMCA to create a two-day interpreter training course. This course has educated about 80 interpreters and has created a certification program for them. This has helped to improve communication between police and the community and has made the community safer as a whole.

Cal Roy delivered a 15-week in-service training program on the correct use of interpreters to all WRPS members. The program was very thorough and covered all the basics of using interpreters, from how to select the right interpreter for the job to how to manage the interpretation process. The program was very well received by the WRPS members, and they have since been using interpreters much more effectively.

Cal also oversaw the Language Line Service, a new forum that provided interpretation services to the WRPS Service. The Language Line Service was a great way for the WRPS to connect with its diverse community, and it was a huge success. Cal was instrumental in making the Language Line Service a reality, and he is a true asset to the WRPS.

The Cellphone location program is a service that allows the police to track the location of a cell phone in real time. This can be useful in emergency situations, or when investigating a crime. The police can use this service to track the location of a suspect, or to find a missing person. The program is paid for by the government, and is available to all police forces in Canada. This software allowed North American police organizations to call 1400 interpreters in less than 10 seconds. The software was very user-friendly and efficient.
